Water conservation is a demonstrated efficiency strategy that provides energy and environmental cost savings. In addition to the savings associated with the cost and use of the water itself, other savings come from reducing pumping energy, sewer costs, and consuming less energy for water heating.
Complete solutions include the development, analysis, specification and installation of water reduction technologies in client facilities. These include replacing high water-using fixtures with new equipment that is designed for lower water use. Other projects include improved water control and new valving and re-piping for better safety and security. In addition to interior plumbing fixtures, MyCore Energy has completed projects to reduce water used in cooling towers and evaporative condensers, and converted ‘once-through’ designs into a recirculated solution when appropriate.
